Hospital Report Research Collaborative
Hospital Report Web-Based Reporting Solution

We are providing The Hospital Report Research Collaborative (HRRC), based at the University of Toronto, with a web-based reporting solution for its provincial hospital scorecard reports. The HRRC solution, built on the engine will be used by Hospital board members and senior hospital staff involved in strategic planning,other hospital staff responsible for development and management of quality improvement initiatives, and, HRRC membersThe Metrics3D technology will facilitate the private dissemination of performance data included in the Hospital Reports to all participating hospitals, provide an analytical interface for end-user hospitals to manipulate the data included in the Hospital Reports.

Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand, and Brant Community Care Access Centre

The Community Care Access Centres of HNHB, Champlain and Central, working with ABS, developed and populated an integrated performance measurement system utilising ABS’ Metrics3D technology. Each organization has access to a range of indicators, predefined reports, data definitions, and user views, with a focus on the integration of provider data, among the many sources of included data. Senior Management and staff are able to access a variety of reports and indicators to assess overall performance and the organizations decision making process.

South East CCAC - The South East CCAC selected ABS to implement and support Metrics3D as the SE CCAC Business Intelligence application. This application includes sets of performance measures, integrated with a GIS (geographic information system) view of the knowledge base and the performance measures. This application will provide a foundation which will support the strategic objectives of the CCAC and assist with ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. The robust platform, with enhanced data functionality and usability, will address client priorities by focusing on alignment with strategic priorities, and integration of those priorities into the analysis platform, score cards, strategy maps, etc.

Ontario Ministry of Health & LTC – Midwifery Program
Using a combination of Metrics3D and ABS web based data capture solution, ABS worked with Ontario’s Midwifery Program to develop and implement a province wide reporting and analytics solution. The application is a comprehensive and robust analytical solution to allow the tracking, management, performance management of all births assisted by midwives in Ontario. All components of the application are available to stakeholders via the web.

Ontario Association of Community Care Access Centres
OACCAC - Metrics3D is the application of choice for Ontario’s Community Care Access Centres. The Ontario Association of Community Care Access Centres (OACCAC) is utilizing ABS’ Metrics3D technology to migrate its quarterly reporting to a web based application. This applicatn will be available to all CCACs throughout the province, providing financial, statistical and demographic information in a dynamic fashion. CCACs are able to access the existing reports that the OACCAC currently provides and create there own organization specific reports on-line.

Community Living Toronto - Community Living Toronto is a source of support for thousands of individuals
with an intellectual disability searching for accessible and meaningful ways to live in the community. Partnering with ABS, CLT has brought in Metrics3D to assist with running their business, directing resources to the most important areas and increasing the level of service to all clients. Information being reported and analysed through Metrics3D includes financial information, residential statics, human resource data and other key information to assist the organization to meet their goals and objectives in a timely manner.

Government of Trinidad and Tobago - ABS is engaged in the project funded by World Bank and directed by Trinidad and Tobago's National AIDS Coordinating Committee (NACC) and Ministry of Health (MOH). ABS will provide HIV/AIDS surveillance data management system, as well as Analytics ad Reporting environment for the HIV/AIDS program stakeholders, which include National Surveillance Unit (NSU), NACC, MOH, as well as both public and private AIDS Treatment Centres throughout the country.

Central Community Care Access Centre – To address the Alternative Level of Care (ALC) issue in the Central LHIN, the Central Community Care Access Centre establish an environment that will allow hospitals and the CCAC to facilitate the sharing of information to adequately analyze the contributing factors to the growing number of ALC days in the Central LHIN and looks for ways to alleviate pressures on hospitals resulting from ALC patients. The application, utilizing ABS’s Metrics3D environment facilitates the sharing of timely information that contributes to ALC days. Information relating to the contributing factors to ALC will be published in this tool and is available to hospitals and the Community Care Access Centre in the LHIN.

Providence - A large provider of Rehab, Complex Continuing Care, and Long Term Care in East Toronto, Providence partnered with ABS to customize HealthMetrics3D to implement a balanced scorecard for the organization. Previously, Providence spent an inordinate amount of time manually compiling and combining information into a palatable report for the Board, Senior Management, line managers, and front-line staff. With HealthMetrics3D, Providence is now able to view organizational performance and make informed strategic decisions in a timely manner.

SRB International
Student Decision Support

ABS System Consultants has partnered with SRB International to provide Ontario school boards with local solutions for decision support. These MISA- compliant applications combine the data elements, indicators, metadata, reports and a complete suite analytical and reporting functionality for student, school and board level decision support. SRB has specialized is serving School Districts for over 20 years and is the dominant vendor of Student Information Systems in Ontario, supplying and/or supporting Student Information Systems in 50 of Ontario's 72 School Districts.


Ministry of Education – Labour Relations & Governance Branch
ABS developed and implemented the Electronic Collective Agreements System (ECAS) for the Labour Relations & Governance Branch. The project included the review of all aspects of the collective agreement function (day-to-day operations, organizational structure, existing and potential use of technology and policy governance factors) within LRGB.

The outcome of the project included a comprehensive Business Metrics and Performance Management Solution to establish baseline performance and to substantiate performance improvements. ABS evaluated, developed and implemented the methodology to facilitate and expedite the process of data collection and analysis of the qualitative terms and conditions contained in over 1000 hard-copy collective agreements between local school boards and their staff, covering elementary teachers, secondary teachers, and various support staff (all but teachers) unions. The metrics maintained in ECAS are used to plan, negotiate, and predict the future outcomes of the collective negotiation process across all school boards.

Performance Measurement and Benchmarking System

PMBS is the Ontario Fire Marshal\'s Internet-based software application to collect, display and report on the performance of the municipal fire services. Provides access to over 500 clients across Ontario to track, measure and report on municipal fire service performance. Our Metrics3D technology drives the PMBS system

The Ontario Fire Marshall
Ontario Department of Community Safety and Correctional Services,

Shaping Fire-Safe Communities is a web-based risk managing planning application, executed from within the password-protected area, designed to assist the Fire Marshal business processes by providing an intuitive step-wise risk assessment model and fire prevention effectiveness planning processes. Municipalities and fire services have the ability to undergo a systematic evaluation and selection of the best options in meeting community fire protection needs, resulting in the effective management of fires and other emergencies.

The application serves as decision support tool, guiding users through a systematic and comprehensive series of steps, enabling users to make decisions and document/record these decisions at each step, culminating in a comprehensive risk management plan. Overall, the system assists to identify potential risks and to assist with identifying options and solutions.

The SFSC provides a transparent and user-friendly interface with a powerful analytical engine, to provide a revolutionary model for the design and development of a local, specific community based master fire plan.

PRISM - Performance Reporting Information Systems Manager

PRISM is the OPP\'s performance measurement application, designed to provide senior level decision makers access to critical data to allow them to intuitively plan, monitor, evaluate and control expenditures and activities. This system is being developed and implemented to address the unique business requirements of the OPP. The design and subsequent deployment of the OPP\'s performance measurement application has at its heart our Metrics3D technology.
